Netflix has renewed Jessica Jones for a second series.
The streaming service has officially confirmed that the Marvel series would be returning, though there's no word when.
The first season received positive reviews, thanks to its quirky tone and excellent lead performance from Krysten Ritter as Jones, a failed superhero-turned-private eye.
It's the second of four Marvel series coming to Netflix. The first was 'Daredevil', and the last two are 'Luke Cage' and 'Iron Fist'.
All four will join forces for a mini-series called 'The Defenders'.
Series two of 'Daredevil' comes to Netflix on March 18th. It will see The Punisher – played by Jon Bernthal ('The Walking Dead') – make his debut. There's even word The Punisher will get his own Netflix series.
In other Netflix news, 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' will return on April 15th for its second series (a third has already been commissioned), 'Grace and Frankie' returns on May 6th, and the fourth season of 'Orange is the New Black' will land on June 17th.
Oh, and Neil Patrick Harris will take the staring role in Netflix's live-action series of 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'. Busy busy.
