star wars: the force awakens

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now available to buy from the TalkTalk TV Store a week before it's available to rent or buy on DVD.

You can pick up the seventh instalment in the Star Wars saga for £9.99.

Once downloaded it's yours to keep, so you can watch it as many times as you like.

It will be available to rent through TalkTalk – and from other outlets – from Monday April 18th. TalkTalk will offer it to rent for £3.45, which it claims is the lowest price in Britain.

'The Force Awakens' tells the story of Rey, a desert scavenger, as she teams up with defecting stormtrooper Finn and old favourites Han Solo and Chewbacca as they take on Kylo Ren and the First Order.

The film won plaudits from critics for its humour and economical storytelling. Though some criticised it for being too similar to the first instalment to be released in the franchise: 'Episode IV: A New Hope'.
