The first location for Amazon's new car show has been revealed. The ex-'Top Gear' trio of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are heading to Johannesburg in South Africa on the first stop of their grand tour.
The trio will visit a different location every episode, in an attempt to get away from the standard 'Top Gear' format. This will mean a different audience and setting each week, which they hope will keep the show fresh.
Amazon has also announced a competition that will give fans the chance to win three pairs of tickets, travel and accommodation to be part of the studio recording.
The recording will take place on July 17th. To enter, just show Amazon the most unusual place you've pitched a tent.
To apply, head here. It closes on June 8th.
In a strange twist of fate, the new 'Top Gear' crew have also filmed in South Africa for their new series, which started on Sunday. Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc and co have had mixed reviews, though Rory Reid's iPlayer spinoff 'Extra Gear' was more warmly received.
It's not known when the South Africa episode of 'Top Gear' will air.
