Sky's much-rumoured next Now TV Box will be unveiled on June 29th, the company has confirmed.
Sky has sent out an invite to the launch event, which will take place in the morning in London.
It also linked to a teaser video, which confirms that the Now TV Smart Box – we assume that's what it will be called – will make an appearance.
But it also promises "so much more than that".
What exactly? The firm isn't saying.
Earlier this year, Sky confirmed the next Now TV Box will offer more than 60 live free-to-air channels, as well as the standard array of catch-up options like BBC iPlayer and ITV Player.
It will also offer a new 'Best of Catch-up' section that will showcase anything you might have missed. Sky says this will be curated by content partners, so expect promoted shows rather than a selection tailored to your viewing habits.
Rumours say it will have a hard drive too, making it more of a set-top box than a pure streaming device.
We'll be at the launch on June 29th to bring you all the news as it happens. Stay tuned for more.
