Here's the first trailer for the second series of 'Fortitude', Sky's big-budget, frosty thriller.

The trailer is set to Bjork's hit 'It's oh so quiet', and shows a calm and collected Michael Lennox (Dennis Quaid) motionless in a frosted car. Later, we see Governor Odegard (Sofie Gråbøl) standing alone in the snow-covered town of Fortitude, holding a flickering torch. But what new threat awaits them in the isolated arctic town?

Quad and Gråbøl are returning cast members.

"After the chilling events in the first series this terrifying trailer gives Sky Atlantic viewers a glimpse of what they can expect when this thrilling Sky original drama returns in January," said Zai Bennett, director of Sky Atlantic. "Once again, it is definitely not going to be 'Oh So Quiet' in Fortitude!"

The show is made by Fifty Fathoms, the production company behind the BAFTA-winning 'Marvellous'. It was filmed in the UK and Iceland, and will air in January 2017 on Sky Atlantic.
