Unlikely US star James Corden is bringing his 'Late Late Show' to Sky in the UK. The chat show – whose signature feature is Carpool Karaoke – will join Sky's on-demand library later this month for the first time.
From July 19th, Sky and Now TV customers in the UK and Ireland will be able to catch up on Corden's antics on-demand one day after the show airs in the US.
On the 19th, Sky 1 will broadcast an exclusive highlights show entitled 'The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special'. This will include the segments featuring Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey.
The segment features Corden and a singer or band driving around singing well-known pop hits.
Other than that, it's your standard American late night talk show, with plenty of satirical barbs and topical references.
"'The Late Late Show' has become a global cultural phenomenon and the UK and Ireland audience has delighted in James' runaway stateside success," said Gary Davey, managing director, Sky Content. "There is a huge appetite from UK and Irish fans to enjoy the antics of 'The Late Late Show' first-hand and we are thrilled to exclusively bring the show direct to our customers."
