Sky Arts has commissioned a second series of 'Master of Photography', the first ever televised talent contest for photography.
The first season has just ended. It saw 12 contestants – both amateur and professional, from all different photography disciplines – travel across Europe taking part in challenges.
It was won by Gabriele Micalizzi, a former footballer and professional tattooist from Milan.
The second series will arrive in 2017. Anyone interested in taking part can enter online from September 14th until October 31st.
Again, the competition is open to amateurs and professionals alike, and will have a prize of €150,000.
Full terms and conditions can be found here.
"'Master of Photography' has been yet another success for Sky Arts – the UK's only dedicated channel for the arts – so we're delighted to be working with our European colleagues on a second season," said Phil Edgar-Jones, director of Sky Arts.
"As we hoped, the programme was a demonstration of just how powerful and important photography remains, and we brought some extraordinary undiscovered talent to light in the process. We look forward to seeing whom we might uncover in 2017."
