Netflix has commissioned a second series of the hit paranormal drama 'Stranger Things'.
The first series has been getting rave reviews, so fans will be delighted that a second series is on the way.
It will consist of nine episodes – to the first season's eight – and air in 2017.
The streaming service also put out a teaser trailer along with the announcement.
According to insiders speaking to Variety, work has been ongoing on series two for some time.
The first series focussed on a small town in America where a boy went missing. But what started as a standard missing persons case soon developed into something a lot more paranormal.
The series' 1980s setting has proved a big draw, prompting comparisons to the Spielberg films of the era.
The writers and producers from the first series will return to work on the second. Though no casting details have been announced as yet.
