The third series of Netflix's thriller 'Narcos' has started filming. To mark the occasion, Netflix tweeted the first photo from the series.
It shows DEA Agent Javier Pena (Pedro Pascal) appearing at a press conference. "The blow must go on," reads the accompanying tweet. "Pablo might be dead but the war is not over. Season 3 of #Narcos has begun filming."
Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) died at the end of the last series.
Netflix has previously confirmed that a fourth series is in the works too.
So how does the show continue once it's lost one of its main characters? According to executive producer Eric Newman, it will open up new opportunities for the show.
"The show was never about Pablo Escobar," he told USA Today. "It was always about the drug war, and the drug war continues on. In fact, it continues on into the present."
