sky sports wifi service

Sky has launched a new service that lets you watch highlights of every Premier League football match – even those not shown on Sky – on your phone. As long as you're in a Sky Sports WiFi pub or venue, you can see all the goals for free through the Sky Sports Football Score Centre app.

The service is available to anyone in the venue who's downloaded the Sky Sports Football Score Centre app, regardless of whether or not they're a Sky customer.

It shows clips and goals for all televised Premier League games as well as highlights and goals from all other Premier League matches. The highlights from Saturday 3pm fixtures will be available from 5:15pm on the same day.

Previously, the service was limited to Sky Sports residential subscribers, not publicans with a licence to show Sky Sports in their pubs. Customers also had to wait until just before 10pm to see highlights of that day's matches. So now it's available to more people, and earlier in the day.

To find a Sky pub near you, use the Sky Pub Finder.

David Rey, managing director of Sky Business, said landlords would love the new service.

"The fantastic features of the Football Score Centre app are now available to any customer in a Sky Sports WiFi venue," he said.

"This is great news for landlords. At Sky we pride ourselves on helping sports venues create the best possible atmosphere for their customers and this new service is one more way for them to do that.

"Football fans need look no further than Sky Sports WiFi pubs for all the Premier League action."

Landlords eager to take part will need Sky Sports and Sky's free wi-fi powered by The Cloud.
