Sony's PlayStation Vue streaming service is now available on Android TV. Sony has also announced it will be coming to Mac and PC browsers soon, though it hasn't given a release date.

PlayStation Vue is only available in the US at the moment. Sony has refused to say when – or if – it'll ever hit UK shores.

When the service comes to PCs and Macs, it will boast a new 'mini player' feature that lets you shrink the player into the corner of the browser window. That will mean you can carry on watching the show while still browsing the web.

PlayStation Vue lets customers watch on five devices at the same time (it's also available on iOS, Android and Roku devices, as well as the PS3 and PS4 games consoles). Using the cloud-based DVR, you can record hundreds of hours of content.

Prices start at $29.99 (£25) for 55 channels, rising to $74.99 (£62) for the Ultra package, which includes HBO, Showtime and local content.
