The 'Gilmore Girls' revival may have left fans divided, but it seems there might be more episodes on the way.

After the series creator hinted that the four episodes comprising 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' might be followed by another series, Netflix has hinted at a possible future storyline.

If you're yet to see the final episode of the latest series, don't read on, as the rest of this story contains spoilers.

The revival ended with Rory (Alexis Bledel) being made pregnant accidentally by her feckless ex Logan (Matt Czuchry), echoing how her mother had been made pregnant by her ex Christopher more than 30 years ago. But now this tweet from Netflix's US account throws all that into doubt.

It's a nod to the storyline that formed part of the original 'Gilmore Girls' series, which aired over a decade ago. That saw Lorelai's love interest Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) find out he had a secret daughter, who tested his DNA as part of a school science project to discover her real father.

But Netflix's mocked-up image implies that Logan might not be the father of Rory's child. In which case, who is? It seems to suggest that it could be either Rory's boyfriend Paul (Jack Carpenter) or a mysterious 'Star Wars' fan wearing a Wookie costume.

So could this be revealed in future episodes? Or is Netflix just tweeting a harmless in-joke for fans? We'll have to wait and see.
