amazon fire tv set

The Amazon Fire TV is one of the best streaming boxes around, and now you can get it built into your TV.

You'll have to buy a TV from Westinghouse, Element or Seiki – three budget brands all owned by Tong Fang Global.

Each set will come with the Amazon Fire TV OS, including a standard Electronic Programme Guide for standard TV. If you want to stream anything from Amazon Prime Video, just select it from the menu, with no streaming box or dongle in sight.

The TVs come packing all the other apps you get with Fire TV, like BBC iPlayer and All 4.

Alexa Voice Remotes also come as standard, which means you can ask Amazon's virtual assistant to fetch you facts, or control your TV using just your voice.

Alexa is the artificial intelligence helper found in Amazon's awesome Echo and Echo Dot speakers, as well as the latest generation of Fire TV Stick streaming dongle and Fire TV streaming box.

The TVs will come in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 60-inch sizes. There's no word on a UK release yet. We'll keep you posted.
