Netflix has confirmed that season five of 'House of Cards' is coming soon. The series starts on May 30th. Here's the first trailer to get your teeth into.

What with the election of Donald Trump as 45th president of the US, the show's writers undoubtedly have plenty of material to draw on. Though it's arguable that reality has been far stranger than any believable fiction.

The teaser doesn't give much away. It shows a US flag flying upside down in front of the Capitol Building in Washington, while children can be heard reading the Pledge of Allegiance.

As with previous series, Netflix will make every episode available on day one, meaning fans can binge-watch the whole lot in one go.

For the first time, episodes will also be available to download, so you can watch using your mobile device on the go.

Can Frank Underwood match Donald Trump in his underhand goings on? We'll find out on 30th May.
