samsung tv plus

Samsung's 4K TV service is coming to the UK.

Called TV Plus, it offers content from major Hollywood studios like Warner, Disney, Sony and Fox, plus some HBO productions.

The service is run in partnership wth Wuaki, which is owned by online retailer Rakuten.

It's been available in Germany since the start of the year. It's now expanding into the UK, France, Italy and Spain.

The most recent numbers for Wuaki are a little old, but they're all we have for now. In 2014, it had 250,000 UK subscribers, but it's likely to have a lot more now that streaming has gained widespread adoption. It currently has 3 million users across Europe.

However, that's small beer compared to Netflix, which is closing in on 100 million users worldwide
