Apple's 'Carpool Karaoke' finally has a launch date. The series will debut on Apple Music on 8th August.
Apple announced the series a couple of months ago, but its airing date was delayed.
The show is a spinoff from 'The Late Late Show with James Corden', which currently hosts the segment. In the Apple Music version, Corden will be replaced by a series of guest stars, including actors, comedians and athletes (though he will make an appearance, too).
Guests will include Will Smith, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Ariana Grande and Metallica.
The series will comprise 16 episodes, with new episodes dropping on Tuesdays.
'Carpool Karaoke' is one of Apple's first attempts at original content, an area in which it is becoming increasingly active. It recently aired a series called 'Up Next', which focusses on a different emerging musician each month, and has '808: The Movie' and Taylor Swift's '1989' concert film in its roster.
It's also working on a reality show about app developers called 'Planet of the Apps'.
