Sky has slashed the price of Sky Cinema to £10 a month. The deal is valid for both new and existing Sky customers, but is only available during the summer.
New customers will have to sign up to Sky for a minimum of 18 months, with a monthly contract costing at least £22. Those already with Sky will pay an extra tenner a month for 18 months when you upgrade to Sky Cinema.
Sky Cinema (previously known as Sky Movies) has over 1,000 films on-demand, plus it brings you a new premiere every day of the year. Recent and upcoming examples include 'A Street Cat Named Bob', 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children', 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story', 'Doctor Strange' and 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.
It hosts a range of pop-up channels dedicated to a certain season or actor, such Sky Cinema Star Wars, Sky Cinema Tom Cruise and Sky Cinema Tom Hanks.
If you miss the start of a film, you can start watching from the beginning using Sky Cinema's Restart feature. And you can watch on your mobile using Sky Go wherever you have a Wi-Fi connection or signal anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
Sky recently refreshed its sports offering, rebranding its sports channels by separate sports and offering them on an individual basis, so you only pay for the sports you follow.
