Three new pilots are coming to Amazon Prime Video on 10th November as part of Amazon's Fall Pilot Season.
'Sea Oak' stars Glenn Close in an adaptation of a short story by George Saunders. Close plays Aunt Bernie, a working-class protagonist from America's Rust Belt, who dies during a home invasion but comes back to life determined to live the life she never had.
'The Climb' is a comedy based in Detroit. It focusses on an office assistant (played by the show's creator Diarra Kilpatrick) who wants to be famous on the internet.
'Love You More' stars Bridget Everett as a counsellor for young adults with Down Syndrome. Her penchant for standing up for the powerless occasionally spills over in a fantasy rock music number.
"We're excited about, and committed to, telling diverse and risky stories from the best storytellers in the world," said Joe Lewis, Amazon Studios' head of comedy, drama and VR. "We can't wait for customers to see these incredible new universes from Diarra, Bridget, Michael and George."
Last week, Amazon Studios' head of programming Roy Price resigned after he was accused of sexual harassment by a producer. The streaming service is developing three new sci-fi shows, in the hope of discovering the next 'Game of Thrones.'
