carnage presenters

Sky One is getting its own motoring show. 'Carnage' sounds like 'Top Gear' meets 'Robot Wars'. It will be fronted by Freddie Flintoff, grime MC Lethal Bizzle and Capital FM presenter Vick Hope.

The show sees teams of creative engineers, mechanics and drivers from around the UK and Ireland transform regular cars into weaponised, battle-ready vehicles.

Teams then fight it out in a 'Mad Max'-style battle royale in three arenas deep in the desert.

Like 'Robot Wars', the aim is to immobilise your opponent.

Flintoff said in a statement: "Carnage has amazing vehicles designed by some top-notch contestants. It's going to be huge, exciting and intense, let the carnage begin!"

Lethal Bizzle added: "It's awesome to be involved in such a crazy and exciting show."

And Hope said: "Carnage is like a mix of 'Robot Wars', 'Mad Max' and 'Wacky Races' – I can't wait to see the mad cars the teams create."

The show will air later this year on Sky One.
