google smart tv kit reddit

Google will announce a new Chromecast streaming dongle later today, that much we know. But now comes word it’ll bundle the device with a Google Home Mini smart speaker, and call the package a Smart TV kit.

Google did the same with the previous generation of Chromecast.

A photo of the bundle was posted on Reddit – though it’s since been deleted – by someone who claimed to work at an electronics shop. Though it didn’t say which shop, we can assume it’s Walmart, seeing as it had the previous-generation Smart TV kits as an exclusive.

This is further confirmation of what Google has up its sleeve. The new Chromecast is said to open the gateway to Google’s rumoured new gaming system, and so to be compatible with Bluetooth game control pads.

There’s only a few hours until Google lifts the lid on its goodies tonight. We’ll bring you all the news as it breaks.
