The Senior Editor works within the content team to shape and maintain entire product-verticals or domains. They do this by leveraging a network of content agencies and freelancers to create new content and keeping the pages they own up-to-date with the latest information.
As Senior Editor you will be responsible for the content of an entire domain or significant portion of a large domain with multiple product verticals. You will own two distinct responsibilities as part of this: First, the briefing of new content. We leverage agencies and a growing freelance network to create a significant part of our new content. You will be responsible for managing this workflow from brief to content upload.
Second, you will ensure that the content on “your” part of the web-site remains up-to-date with the latest information. You will maintain and own the refresh plan for your content and edit the pages to ensure we always bring the latest insights to our audiences. As part of this you will use your market knowledge to ensure content is as up to date as possible work, and our pages are continually improving.
Third, you will have solid knowledge of the mortgage and car insurance verticals in particular, providing input and guidance to our PR and Outreach teams, as well as guiding the wider content strategy and team.
