As an analyst, your input will be crucial in driving decision-making. We are building a platform that supports businesses across products and across brands. Across our brands - uSwitch, Money, and Bankrate - we give millions of people the tools, data, and insight to save thousands of pounds per year by taking control of their utility bills and finance products. We help products answer questions like How do we show dozens of broadband products in an order that’s best for the user? and What are the top 50 places where a first-time buyer drops out of the home-buying funnel? And why do they drop out?

What you’ll be working on

We’re looking for an analyst to join our rapid and ever-developing London office. You’ll be using tools and databases including Google Analytics, BigQuery, Postgres, MySQL, R, Python, and Tableau to tackle massive problems that we’re only just starting to understand. This role will be an opportunity to:

  • Work with our lead analyst to define and implement a data strategy to support the needs of various products across brands
  • Collaborate and influence product teams to make data-driven decisions
  • Monitor, report and diagnose trends in KPIs, automating wherever possible
  • Communicate and present clearly to colleagues across marketing, commercial, finance and product
  • Manage data from its raw format to an output of a comprehensive dashboard

Requirements

  • Experience with and a passion for digital analytics
  • Proactive with a positive attitude, well organised, and adept at managing competing deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent SQL skills; experience with Git, R and Python a bonus
  • Eagerness to break records, create opportunities, and take risks; we love an ambitious spirit
  • Business acumen, able to confidently carryout ROI analysis
  • Comfortable with and excited by a fast-paced and often changing environment, with an inclination to solve new problems and learn new skills in order to succeed
  • Pragmatism; understands when analysis is good enough to finish
  • Statistically literate, competent with some statistical testing or modelling techniques
