Our commercial relationships are in place to help make the switching process as convenient as possible for our customers, and in some cases we can offer exclusive deals that are not available directly from the supplier. They also enable us to keep this a free service.

The prices we use to calculate your results are supplied directly by suppliers. We monitor all suppliers continually and update to ensure our results are comprehensive and accurate.

Although there are over 170 UK home phone suppliers, we only include suppliers that meet our strict criteria. This ensures the supplier is large enough and has the necessary systems in place, to provide an efficient and satisfactory level of service to all customers.

• have an Ofcom approved code of practice for its sales and marketing activities

• be registered with an Ofcom approved alternative dispute resolution scheme (ADR) and provide monthly statistics of the number of customers using such schemes

• operate a customer call centre with a minimum of 40 hours per week availability OR offer an email customer service

• provide information on the availability of the product, by supplying a postcode list if necessary

• provide uSwitch.com with a monthly update of full pricing information. We reserve the right to remove any supplier from the site who does not comply with this

• give a minimum of five working days notice of any price changes

• provide uSwitch.com with published accounts or other suitable credit references upon request
