In some of our current advertising, we make the following claim:
"Earn up to £155 a year in cash with a free Uswitch account"
This calculation is based on the highest potential cashback earning amounts for switching energy (£25), switching broadband (£120) and participating in the Utrack Money Back scheme and one-off bonus events (£10). Cashback is only available with a Uswitch account and must be redeemed via the Uswitch app. Utrack Money Back requires a smart meter. Broadband deal availability depends on region. Correct as of 2 September 2025.
In some of our current advertising, we make the following claims:
Broadband savings: £395
Switching to a new broadband deal after your initial contract has ended could save you £395 (£395.25) a year. We calculated the average yearly cost of staying out-of-contract (£724.73) across the five most popular deals on Uswitch with publicly available out of contract pricing: Virgin Media (Gig1 & M500), EE (900 & 1.6Gb) and BT (Fibre 2). We compared this to the average yearly cost for new customers switching to those same five deals (£309.48). This figure includes mid-contract price rises, calculated using the average price increase across these five deals (£4 per month) applied to the 7 months of the year following the April price hike (August to March).
Mobile savings: £262 per contract
Switching from an ending 24 month handset contract to a SIM-only contract (and keeping your existing handset) could save you £262 per year, or £22 per month. This calculation is based on the price of the top selling 24 month handset package in July 2024 (Apple iPhone 15 with 100GB data) against the cheapest equivalent SIM only deal on the Uswitch site as of July 2026 (talkmobile 100GB Data £8.95 per month).
Solar savings: £964 per year average
£964 is the average estimated annual savings figure based on data from customer solar quotes generated on Uswitch since 1 April 2026. Actual savings and costs will vary per property. Correct as of 10 August 2026.
Television advertising

‘More people come to us to find their energy, broadband and mobile deal than any other site’.

From 2023 to 2024, Uswitch has consistently taken the highest proportion of paid online and organic traffic for people looking to compare and switch their energy, broadband and mobile deals.
