Posted 27th March 2008 at 6:15pm by Alex Buttle
Mobile broadband provider 3 has reduced the costs of its pay as you go dongles from £99.99 to £69.99.
The company states that this move makes it the only mobile broadband supplier in the country to offer customers such a deal.
Under current pricing schemes, pay as you go customers can top up with 1GB worth of downloads for £10 or £15 for 3GB, while 7GB add-ons are available for £25.
Each add-on purchased lasts 30 days, with the company stating that the 3GB package is proving the most popular.
Customers using this mobile broadband package can be provided with up 2,000 free plain text emails, 100 hours of web surfing and an additional 100 two-minute video downloads and 200 music tracks.
In addition, a recent promotion is entitling existing 3 customers to a further £20 off the price of the dongles, which are available in both black and white and provide speeds of up to 2.8Mbps.
