Mobile broadband is a sign of Brits' growing ambition to work and communicate while on the move, a representative of 3 has suggested.
Renato Bottini, head of business at 3 UK, has said that such technology allows for greater flexibility in the working life of customers, allowing devices to be brought home or on a business trip.
He commented: "It's just an evolution of technology and people get used to using things in different ways.
"One of the previous barriers had been cost and that has been removed and it is now easy, cost effective and productive to work whilst mobile."
According to the results of recent research conducted by 3, 14 per cent of people feel it's essential to be contacted by phone or email so they can deal with a client/customer request at any time.
