EU’s mobile broadband regulations don’t go far enough
Posted 23rd April 2009 at 2:12pm by Jonathan Leggett
In the main this is great news for consumers. But we’d have liked to have seen the regulations extended to take in a usage limit. Just as useful would have been regulations compelling mobile broadband providers to notify customers who are nearing their download limits. Only if these are added to the EU’s rules do we feel that we might finally see an end to stories of Britons being hit with nasty shocks when they arrive back from holiday.
