O2 offering cheap 1GB mobile broadband
Posted 1st March 2010 at 11:22am by Oliver Folkard
UK internet service provider O2 is offering further incentives for consumers to migrate to its mobile broadband packages.
The firm is now offering 1GB mobile broadband for just £10 per month, with unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot services.
Subscribers can get their O2 dongle for free, and also receive three months' service without payment if they are willing to sign up for an 18-month contract.
For those consumers who prefer to pay on an ad-hoc basis, one month deals are also available for £10, however the dongle must be purchased outright for a one-off fee of £20.
Consumers seeking 3GB data allowance can still sign up for an O2 USB Modem E169 deal, priced at £15 per month on an 18-month deal.
O2's mobile broadband services offer speeds of up to 3.6Mb.

The 3GB deal is alright. But the 1GB offer is pointless.
