Uswitch comments on Three’s “Go Binge” plans

Commenting on Three’s new “Go Binge” plans, offering customers unlimited streaming on select services**,** Ernest Doku**,** telecoms expert at Uswitch**.**com, says**:** “With its new streaming-friendly plan, Three has unveiled yet another string to their bow as the battle to be crowned network of choice for data-heavy mobile heats up.

“In addition to existing competitive perks, such as its Feel At Home roaming tariff which lets customers on advanced tariffs roam in multiple destinations at no extra cost, Three customers will now be able to upgrade to a “Go Binge” plan, giving access to unlimited streaming on select services.

“The network has suggested that these will be slightly more expensive, setting existing customers back around £3 extra a month on top of their current bill.

“However, for that cost, customers are able to access unlimited streaming throughout all of Three’s Feel At Home destinations, and they can also choose to tether their mobile to view services on TVs or laptops.

“It’s fantastic to see Three partnering with streaming giants like Netflix and music streaming site Deezer, but customers already subscribed to alternative platforms may feel somewhat hard done by.

“A bold and customer-pleasing extension to “Go Binge” would be Three extending their streaming offer to a wider array of digital services such as Amazon Prime, Spotify, iPlayer and 4oD.”
