Uswitch comments on news that switching will become easier for customers with restricted use meters
Commenting on the news that the Competition and Markets authority is to remove barriers to switching for energy customers on restricted use meters, Emma Bush, energy expert at Uswitch.com, said:
“Switching is usually very quick and easy to do but the small number of households with so-called restricted meters often find they have to have their meter replaced if they want to change energy supplier.
“It’s great news that this hurdle is being removed, and also that that the CMA’s remedies to help energy customers are coming into force. The sooner they are implemented in full, the sooner UK households will benefit.”
