New OnePlus 8 packs a punch, says Uswitch.com

“The £599 OnePlus 8 and £799 OnePlus 8 Pro represent a significant saving on their competitors, but they pack in hardware and software that punch well above their weight.
“The OnePlus 8 has a 6.55-inch display – bigger than many rival models – while the OnePlus 8 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch screen.
“The standard model has dual 48MP and 16MP wide lenses, plus a 2MP zoom lens. The Pro model has two 48MP snappers, plus a 3x 8MP telephoto lens and a 5MP colour filter to let you jazz up your pictures for social media.
“Two welcome updates are swapping the front pop-up camera for a tiny hole-punch lens in the top corner, making the device waterproof.
“The Pro version is the first OnePlus handset to offer wireless charging, with the ability to reach 50% charge in 30 minutes is impressive – and faster than either the iPhone 11 or Samsung S20.
“OnePlus has a growing number of fans around the world, and when users get this much bang for their buck, it won’t be long before they carve out a significant following in the UK.”
