Uswitch to sponsor ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent

Uswitch today announces it has signed a deal with ITV, Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia to be the headline sponsor of one of the biggest and most enduring talent shows on TV, Britain’s Got Talent.

Uswitch will use this sponsorship to reinforce its position as the UK’s leading price comparison website for home services, helping consumers find the best deals and save money on their gas, electricity, broadband, TV, phone, banking and other products.

This is the biggest sponsorship deal to date for Uswitch and will place the brand in front of a primetime audience of millions. For more than a decade, Britain’s Got Talent has consistently been the shining star of British entertainment and in 2017 it had an average audience of 9.5 million viewers per episode with a peak of almost 13 million viewers.

The sponsorship will run for the full duration of the 12th series of Britain’s Got Talent, which returns this spring on ITV. New creative will be used aimed at inspiring and motivating consumers to switch and save money off their household bills.

Gareth Helm, Chief Marketing Officer at ZPG, says: “We’re delighted to be partnering with ITV on one of their biggest shows. This is an excellent opportunity for us to further build the Uswitch brand and help the nation understand how they can save hundreds of pounds a year off their household bills in a matter of a few minutes.”

Mark Trinder, Commercial Sales Director, ITV said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Uswitch as the new sponsor of one of the nation’s most-loved programmes and bringing their brand to millions of viewers through the power of TV.”

This year’s series will see formidable judges – creator Simon Cowell plus Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – return in the search for the most exciting talent to perform at the Royal Variety Performance. The quartet will once again be joined by the nation’s favourite presenting duo, Ant and Dec.
