A new addition to the BlackBerry family of mobile phones has been announced, dubbed the BlackBerry 9360 Tour.
Specifications for the new handset have yet to be confirmed but photographs show that it will feature a traditional candybar form factor and a full slide-out Qwerty keyboard.
The Tour is also known to offer 3G support for fast web browsing and will allow users to use it as mobile broadband dongle by harnessing its tethering capability.
Release dates and network carriers for the Tour are still under wraps, but experts anticipate that the phone will appear in the US initially and in the UK shortly after.
News of the forthcoming mobile phone comes as BlackBerry manufacturer Research in Motion is rumoured to mulling a reduction in prices for its handsets to allow them to compete with the new wave of smartphones coming to market.
These include the new edition of the iPhone, the iPhone 3G S, and the Palm Pre, which are due to launch in the UK on June 19th and at some stage during the third quarter respectively.
