The hugely powerful Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman handset is available now from Top 10 Mobile Phones.
Available from just £17.90 per month, the handset features an 8.1 megapixel camera - the highest grade yet to appear on a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone – as well as a pre-installed YouTube application to keep owners entertained while they’re on the go.
Other features of the new slider mobile phone include an impressively large 2.6-inch screen, the latest 4.0 Walkman player with Track ID and Shake Control and GPS, Wi-Fi and HSDPA support for fast downloads.
The release of the handset comes after Sony Ericsson recently refuted claims that it is planning to discontinue its popular Walkman and Cybershot ranges in favour of promoting its “entertainment unlimited” concept.
A spokesman for the company claimed that although it is planning phones that combine the best of both ranges, such as the forthcoming Satio, it will continue to operate the Cybershot and Walkman as separate brands.
