Sony is priming a mini version of its recently launched Xperia Z1, leaks reveal. Dubbed the Z1f, it rocks a smaller 4.3-inch display, but still comes with a slew of the larger device's top-end specs.
That means that while users will only get a 720p display, they’ll still have the same impressive 20.1-megapixel camera, 2.2Ghz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM.
The Z1f has been spotted in promotional material for Japanese network NTT DoCoMo. It appears to come in white, black, yellow and pink, with dust and waterproof smarts just like its big bro.
There’s no word as yet on when this smaller model will hit shelves, But with official-looking snaps and specs out in the wild, it shouldn’t be long before Sony gives the device its blessing.
