OnePlus has teased its forthcoming OnePlus 6 smartphone, which is rumoured to be launching in June.
The new device received its first official mention on the mobile maker’s Twitter account, with users told to ‘6et ready!’
Rumours have long claimed that the OnePlus 6 will mark a design departure for the upstart manufacturer, with a notch design aping Apple’s iPhone X and an all–screen finish.
Reports last month suggested OnePlus could up the price of its new handset, with a new 256GB model costing as much as $700 in the U.S.
The latter could, though, come with a hefty 8GB of RAM as well as a more impressive spec sheet than its stablemates. A 64GB model is likely to cost the same as the entry-level OnePlus 5T, which is priced at £449.
Elsewhere, the rear camera may get a boost, while facial scanning is also likely to be tightened up in order to compete with rival offerings from Apple and Samsung.
