The forthcoming OnePlus 6 looks certain to include a heart rate monitor, after the Chinese mobile-maker teased the feature via its Weibo account.
An image clearly showing the number 6 backed by a cardiogram was posted on the Chinese social media service over the weekend.
The inclusion of such functionality would put the OnePlus 6 up there as one of the best smartphones for fitness tracking. Such features have also become essential for smartwatches in recent years.
OnePlus has been releasing a steady stream of teasers for its new flagship phone in recent weeks.
These have hinted at a larger screen with a notch at the top, a waterproof exterior and more storage.
The latter is now said to run to a massive 256GB, with 64GB and 128GB editions also being primed.
The price tag is also likely to rise with the inclusion of these new features, with reports suggesting the OnePlus 6 could top £700 for the most capacious model.
OnePlus is holding a special event in London on 16th May when it will reveal the device to the media and a number of paying customers.
