Apple’s new iPhone XR is available to pre–order now on EE, with selected plans coming with sweeteners in order to entice you to upgrade.
EE’s most affordable monthly deal costs £54 a month, plus a £100 up front fee, which scores you 1GB of data, unlimited texts and calls and three months of BT Sport app access. That package is one of EE’s Essential offering, meaning roaming outside the EU is not included.
For those willing to stump up more, £68 a month and £10 up front snags a more than ample 60GB of data, unlimited calls and texts, plus roaming in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Mexico, as well as the EU. BT Sport comes as standard for the duration of the 24 month deal, including three months of casting to a TV of your choice.
If 60GB isn’t enough, then there are two 100GB packages. Each comes with unlimited calls and texts and the same contract–length BT offering, although the cheaper £68 per month deal requires a £50 downpayment. Up your monthly payment to £73 and that drops to £10 when you sign.
The iPhone XR is Apple’s more affordable take on its iPhone XS. It packs a larger 6.1–inch screen, albeit with LCD rather than OLED tech. However, it still features Face ID, a new A12 Bionic chipset and superb single lens camera. It’s available in white, black, gold, blue, coral and red.
Anyone who pre–orders will get the iPhone XR on release day, 26th October.
