The iPhone XR is now available to pre-order on O2. The bubbly network is offering Apple’s most affordable (!) iPhone on tariffs starting at £43.88 a month.
That deal also requires £129.99 upfront. It gets you 2GB of data a month, plus unlimited minutes and texts (as do all these tariffs).
4GB costs £46.16 a month plus £119.99 upfront, while 20GB is £49.99 a month plus £89.99 upfront. Want 50GB? That’ll cost £53.99 a month and £89.99 upfront, while the data-hungry will pay £59.66 a month and £29.99 upfront for 100GB of data a month.
The 20GB and above tariffs let you save up to 40 per cent on cinema tickets.
The XR is the entry-level model of the new iPhone range. Though with a SIM-free price of £749, it’s not exactly cheap. It packs a large 6.1-inch screen (though it uses LCD technology, rather than its stablemates’ more advanced OLED), Face ID for unlocking using facial recognition, new camera and super speedy new A12 bionic chipset.
