New look Orange dongles gets thumbs-up
Posted 11th March 2009 at 12:00pm by Alex Buttle
Orange is on to a winner with the release of its new bright-coloured USB dongles, according to one critic.
Niall Magennis of Trusted Reviews has highlighted the eye-catching design of the new modem sticks, which are available for £29 alongside a £9.79 per month contract lasting for a year and a half.
Not only was Mr Magennis impressed with the way the dongles are presented in a display case-style package, but he also thought that the colours the devices are available in would go well with mobile broadband users' machines.
He wrote: "The new mobile broadband pack is supplied in a retail-friendly box with a plastic window on the front through which you can clearly see the new dongle.
"We had the black version, but the dongle is also available in white and pink. We can see the benefits of the white version, as it'll better match many of the netbooks around at the moment."
Computer users will be glad to know that the Orange USB dongle sticks are both Apple Mac and Windows-compatible.
