Pre–orders of Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9+ are live now on O2, with the chance to score both phones a week before they go on general sale.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are available to buy from 16th March. But anyone who pre–orders between now and 8th March will get their hands on the device a week before that date.
Both handsets are available on O2 Refresh, meaning you can swap it for a newer phone later in the year, ideal if you simply have to have the latest smartphone in your pocket.
The S9 and S9+ can be also be picked up on O2’s Yearly Upgrade Programme, meaning you can get a new phone in 12 months, but keep the same contract for texts, calls and data. Likewise, each phone comes with a free screen replacement promotion on select tariffs.
O2 says that if you buy a deal with 5GB of data, you’ll get an extra 10GB, while those who splash out for 50GB will be given an additional 40GB, making for a massive 90GB monthly allowance.
Prices start from £44 per month for the Galaxy S9, with a £209.99 up front fee. That gets 1GB of data and unlimited calls and texts. The Galaxy S9+ is available from £49 per month and £209.99 up front with the same allowances.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ build on last year’s S8 range, with improved cameras, tweaked iris scanner, AR emoji smarts, Bixby smart assistant and the latest Android software.
