Jones to appear in BT Business broadband ad
Posted 28th April 2008 at 9:59am by Alex Buttle
Dragons' Den investor Peter Jones is to take over from Gordon Ramsay in the new BT Business broadband advertisement, it has been revealed.
Scheduled to make its first appearance on May 5th, the second instalment in the light-hearted series is to see Jones facing similar problems to those tackled by Ramsay in the previous commercial.
The campaign aims to highlight the issues presented to small businesses when their IT problems distract company principals from the day-to-day operations of the firm.
BT explains that it currently provides services covering mobile communications, fixed-line telecoms and business broadband to the UK's 4.3 million small companies.
Jones says: "Small and medium-sized businesses really need suppliers and partners who they can count on to understand and meet their needs to help make their businesses successful.
"That's what the 'do what you do best' campaign is all about."
Following his appearances on the BBC's Dragons' Den panel of investors, Jones recently appeared on US television screens in a similar role on American Inventor.
