BT broadband outlets are inspired

T3 reports that BT is opening two broadband stores in the leafy London suburb of Muswell Hill and Whitchurch in Cardiff. The stores are the first ever broadband stores to open in the UK and will offer the public a chance to come in and see BT’s broadband service in action.
Matthew Dearden, Marketing Director at BT Retail, said: "The showcase shows local people what Super-fast Broadband, currently being trialled in their areas, is all about and enables them to see demonstrations of a range of home and business applications that will enhance their lives."

We think it’s an idea with a lot of potential. In particular, we can see how being able to view BT’s services in action and have questions answered by a flesh-and-blood sales rep could be just the kind of old fashioned, real-world experience that could sway late adopters into finally signing up for broadband.
