LG Nexus 4 landing on Three in December

Three has officially announced it will be offering the LG Nexus 4 from next month in both pay as you and pay monthly options.

Currently exclusive to O2 for a limited time, the Nexus 4 will be available on Three’s line-up from December 13th for £399 (with a £15 top-up), or on contract £35 a month on a two-year term plus £29 for the handset itself.

It’s not exactly the keenest asking price around, given the Nexus 4 is available unlocked for just £239 on the Google Play store (presently sold out) and there are certainly better handsets you can get for that monthly outlay.

On the upside, you’re treated to a generous allowance of 2,000 any network minutes, 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat-data. So it’s not too shabby at all if you are a heavy user.

Features of the LG Nexus 4 include a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution, a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and an eight-megapixel snapper that shoots in full HD.

Elsewhere, it comes with the latest Android Jelly Bean installed out of the box, NFC support for fast payments and has wireless charging capabilities. The only, and perhaps also the biggest, snag is that there is no microSD slot.

Sylvia Chind of Three said: "The Nexus 4 has a beautiful design and impressive hardware specs so our customers will be able to truly enjoy all the benefits of the mobile internet with this new smartphone."
