Kiefer Sutherland and Stephen Fry are to star in a one-off drama on Sky Arts.

The pair were recently seen together in '24: Live Another Day'. They'll star alongside each other in 'Playhouse Presents… Marked'.

The drama sees Sutherland play a character called James who's deeply in debt. In order to make money, he agrees to perform a hit for his neighbour, 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Kevin McNally.

But when he arrives at the victim's house, he discovers things aren't as they seem. He's also confronted by Stephen Fry's character, who, according to Sky, is "the last person he expects to see".

'Marked' was written and directed by Greg Ellis. Fry is executive producer, along with Gina Carter and Jo McClellan.

Phil Edgar-Jones, director of Sky Arts, said in a statement: "When Stephen and Kiefer agreed to do a 'Playhouse Presents…' it was like all my Christmases rolled into one."

'Marked' will air on Sky Arts 1 in December.

Fry recently appeared in the Monty Python reunion at the O2.

'Playhouse Presents…' is known for a number of high-profile acting, writing and directing debuts. Cara Delevigne, for example, made her acting debut in 'Timeless' in the previous series.
