TalkTalk TV is adding four new channels from the end of the month. From August 28th, History, Crime + Investigation, H2 and Lifetime will come to the service.

That's because TalkTalk has struck with a deal with A+E Networks UK. Worldwide, A+E networks reaches around 330 million people.

History and Crime + Investigation will become part of the Entertainment Extra Boost package. Lifetime and H2 will be available on the same boost, as well as the Entertainment Boost.

The channels will soon come to TalkTalk's catch-up service, and then will be available on-demand.

"We are very pleased to announce this partnership, which offers a significant opportunity for us to expand the reach of our leading factual and entertainment channels across the UK and Ireland," said Bakori Davis, VP of commercial operations at A+E Networks UK.

"We're confident that the exciting content across our portfolio will really appeal to TalkTalk's customers."

"As Britain's fastest-growing TV service, it's fantastic to be offering our ever increasing base of TV customers more of the content they love," added Henrik Karlberg, head of TV at TalkTalk.

"Our TV packages are getting richer and we're providing even more value to our customers. This deal is yet another example of how TalkTalk TV keeps getting better."
