ITV has revealed the launch night schedule for its new channel, ITVBe.

The arrival of the channel is will be heralded by a show dubbed 'Welcome to ITVBe', which is optimistically billed as a celebration of everything that's good about it.

Chillingly, the two-hour special will be hosted by Peter Andre and Jamelia, and will feature "all the gossip and glamour" from the launch event, as well as the exclusive premiere of 'Celebrity Dinner Date' featuring Joe Swash.

There's also a special of the channel's flagship programme 'The Only Way is Essex' set in Ibiza (imaginitively called 'The Only Way is Ibiza'), as well as a one-off spin-off called 'TOWIE: All Back to Essex'.

This will be hosted by Essex residents Denise van Outen and Mark Wright, and will feature "all the gossip from filming in the sunshine island" along with interviews with the cast, fans and pundits.

Viewers will be able to tweet their questions for the cast. So you'll finally be able to find out what Arg thinks about the devo-max proposal and get up to speed with Lauren Pope's plan to bring a lasting peace to the Middle East.

ITVBe will be the exclusive home to 'The Only Way is Essex'. It will also show a new original commissioned series 'Seven Days With...', which follows the lives of celebrity couples.

Couples signed up include Tamara Ecclestone and Jay Rutland, Brian and Vogue McFadden, and Natasha Hamilton and Ritchie Neville.

ITVBe launches on October 8th on Freeview, Sky and Virgin. Exact timings for the launch night shows will be confirmed nearer the time.
