YouView has brought three new internet channels to its set-top boxes.

Motors, Vintage TV and RT Doc have been available for some time on some internet-connected Freeview set-top boxes and TVs, but have now come to YouView.

YouView can support the channels thanks to a recent software upgrade that introduced new video streaming skills the BBC's connected red button needed. The channels use Arqiva's Connect TV streaming service.

The channels are now available to customers with Humax or BT YouView boxes, but TalkTalk customers will have to wait until early next year. Those poor TalkTalk customers.

They also have to wait until early next year to get Netflix, while YouView customers with boxes made by BT and Humax can access it right now.

You should see a prompt to press the red button. Do so, and the channels should launch.

You won't be able to record, fast forward, or rewind these new channels, however.
