Walter White is coming to British TV. The hit show 'Breaking Bad' will air on Spike, which launches in the UK next month.
At the moment, the show is only available on these shores via Netflix.
'Breaking Bad' tells the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher whose life is transformed when he is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.
In order to provide for his family, he makes money the quickest way he can – he starts cooking and selling crystal meth.
The series charts his descent from protagonist to antagonist. Series creator Vince Gilligan has said he wanted to transform White from Mr. Chips to Scarface.
The show won 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Bryan Cranston, who plays White, won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series four times.
All five series are heading to Spike, though the broadcast date hasn't been confirmed.
In the US, Spike is home to such shows as 'Bromancing the Stone' and 'All Twerk & No Play'. Its better-known series include 'Cops', 'Tattoo Nightmares' and 'Bar Rescue'.
