BT TV customer? Prepare for a shake up, with the news that BT will move subscription channels, such as Sky Sports, to new locations on its YouView and BT Vision EPGs next week.

Instead of their current home in the 400-599 slot, the Sports, Kids and Extra subscription channels will move to 300-599. So if you're scrolling from the start, you should see them sooner.

Subscription channels encompass anything that's not included in a Freeview package. As well as music, sports and movies channels, they include Dave, Discovery, Comedy Central, Fox and Lifetime.

The channels will start moving from 9am on June 2nd – that's Tuesday. By 9am the next day, all BT YouView boxes should have the channels in the new position. BT hasn't said when the update will reach BT Vision boxes.

BT TV customers can get Sky Sports 1 and 2 for £16.50 a month each, or £22 a month together. You'll also need a BT Infinity package, which start at £20 a month for new customers, plus £16.99 line rental.
